One of the people's livelihoods is as a honey beekeeper. But unfortunately the honey produced by the community has not been utilized optimally, only used as personal consumption and sold in the form of pure honey. From the problems that arise, alternatives are arranged to solve the problem. Furthermore, the alternative was carried out by conducting training in making cookies with PKK mothers and utilizing honey produced by the community. This training also increases the knowledge and skills of PKK mothers regarding the use of honey into other products that are more useful and have more selling value. High interest from partners has a positive impact on the implementation of the program. The output that has been achieved from this training activity is in the form of cookies products that are given additional honey and zinc or named CODUZINC "Zinc Honey Cookies" produced by PKK mothers in Purworejo hamlet, Badas District, Kediri Regency and is expected to help in overcoming stunting problems.
2024-08-02T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Proceedings of the National Health Scientific Publication Seminarhttp://spikesnas.khkediri.ac.id/SPIKesNas/index.php/MOO/article/view/236Monitoring Maternal and Child Health Through the Maternal and Child Health Care Network2024-05-23T10:42:31+07:00Wahyu Nuraisyawahyunuraisya@gmail.com
There's a delay in reaching the pregnant mother K1 causing the information or data of pregnant mothers to disappear. These deviations include intolerance, sexual violence, bullying, and many more. This happens due to a lack of knowledge among today’s teenagers about the impacts of intolerance, sexual violence, and bullying, hence the need for efforts to impart understanding about anti-intolerance, anti-sexual violence, anti-bullying values to teenagers. One way this can be achieved is through the socialization and empowerment of Red Cross Youth (PMR) members in schools to broaden the horizons of teenagers and students can use the brainstorming method to discuss preventing acts of intolerance, sexual violence, and bullying to avoid behavioral deviations in school or outside. This community service uses a questionnaire distributed to 24 participants and employs a descriptive research method. The results obtained indicate that before the intervention, all PMR members (100%) had lesser abilities with a mean of 23.88, while after the intervention, all (100%) had good abilities with a mean of 44.17. This suggests that PMR members have experienced an increase in their knowledge scores about 3A prevention (Anti Intolerance, Anti Sexual Harassment, Anti Bullying). The Brainstorming can be more interactive, engaging, effective, and provide more understanding for respondents. Malnutrition-related problems can lead to underweight in toddlers, hindering their growth and development. This is influenced by socioeconomic status, lack of maternal knowledge about proper toddler feeding. The government has implemented a Supplementary Feeding Program (PMT) using local food to address this nutritional issue, but there is no data on its effectiveness yet. The aim of this research is to assess the effectiveness of the implementation of the PMT program using local food on the weight of toddlers. The study used a comparative descriptive method with a retrospective approach. Sampling was done using total sampling technique with 23 respondents. Data collection technique involved documentation of the PMT program evaluation conducted in March - April 2023. Statistical analysis was done using Paired T Test (<0.05). The research found that before receiving the PMT program, respondents had an average weight of 10.08 kg. After the PMT program, the weight increased to 10.67 kg. The provision of the PMT program using local food effectively increased the weight of toddlers. (P value 0.008 < 0.05). This program can increase calorie intake in toddlers. It is hoped that in the future, parents can independently implement the PMT program to improve the weight of toddlers.

Keyword : Nutritional status, Weight, Supplementary feeding program.
2024-08-01T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Proceedings of the National Health Scientific Publication Seminarhttp://spikesnas.khkediri.ac.id/SPIKesNas/index.php/MOO/article/view/263MOTHER TODDLER COOKING CLASS MENU MORINGA LEAVES TO OVERCOME ANEMY AND STUNTING2024-08-03T02:22:50+07:00Tintin Hariyanitintinhariyani2@gmail.com
Moringa (Moringa oleifera) is a multipurpose plant. Moringa can grow in lowlands and highlands up to 1,000 meters above sea level (m pl). The distribution of moringa spreads from Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, East Nusa Tenggara, and West Nusa Tenggara. The fairly high iron content in moringa leaves makes it believed to help prevent anemia. It can help relieve infections caused by bacteria. It can help increase antioxidant levels in women who have gone through menopause. Good for children who are malnourished and stunted. Activities include socialization, education, demonstrations, demonstrations, and distribution of moringa plant seeds. The activity was carried out on May 30, 2023. The location of the activity was at the Minggiran village hall, Papar district, Kediri district. The menu of dishes demonstrated were moringa vegetables, moringa jelly milk, and pudding. Based on the socialization carried out, it is known that moringa leaves are plants that are known in the Kediri area. Many moringa plants grow wild or are planted in the yard area of the house. A total of 12 pregnant women and mothers of toddlers have moringa plants in their homes. However, they do not yet know that the nutritional content of moringa leaves is useful for preventing and treating stunting and anemia. They only know that moringa leaves are consumed in the form of vegetables. They have never tried to process moringa leaves in different ways to produce a variety of more varied food. Variations in the moringa leaf are needed so that toddlers and pregnant women have more appetite for consuming the moringa leaf. In this cooking class activity for mothers of toddlers and pregnant women, innovation and creativity in processing moringa leaves into various menus for food, drinks, and snacks are demonstrated. will make it easier for pregnant women and children to accept and consume moringa leaves. One of the hypertension management to lower blood pressure can be done with exercise. The combination of Buerger Allen exercise and walking exercise is a form of exercise method. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the combination of Buerger Allen exercise and walking exercise on blood pressure in hypertension patients in Sumberbendo Village, Pucanglaban District. The research design was pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest without control approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, 36 respondents were obtained from 115 populations. The dependent variable in this study was blood pressure. The instrument in this study used a blood pressure observation sheet. Statistical analysis used the Paired T-Test with α 0.05. The results of the study before being given the intervention of a combination of Buerger Allen exercise and walking exercise, most (61.1%) respondents experienced stage 1 hypertension, and after the intervention, most (72.2%) respondents experienced pre-hypertension. The results of statistical analysis obtained systolic blood pressure p-value = 0.001, diastolic blood pressure p-value = 0.001 (≤ α 0.05), so there is an effect of the combination of Buerger exercises and walking exercises can lower blood pressure. The combination of Buerger Allen exercises and walking exercises has a mechanism to help muscle pump (pumping blood into blood vessels) and vasodilation of blood vessels which will make blood circulation smooth and peripheral retention decreases so that systolic and diastolic blood pressure decreases. The combination of Buerger Allen exercises and walking exercises can be used as one of the hypertension management with physical activity to lower blood pressure.
2024-08-01T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Proceedings of the National Health Scientific Publication Seminar
