Abstract

Adolescents are a group vulnerable to risky behavior due to a lack of knowledge about reproductive health. Reproductive health education is one of the promotive and preventive strategies to increase adolescent understanding so that they are able to make the right decisions in maintaining their reproductive health. Community service activities were carried out at SMPN 1 Bakung, Bakung District, Blitar Regency from May 8-14, 2026, involving 20 students as respondents. Education was provided through interactive lectures, discussions, and question and answer methods using presentation media and leaflets. Evaluation was carried out using a pre-test and post-test design to measure changes in participants' knowledge levels before and after education. All participants participated in the activity until completion. The evaluation results showed an increase in student knowledge after receiving education, as indicated by an increase in the average post-test score compared to the average pre-test score. Participants also showed enthusiasm during the discussion and were able to re-explain material on reproductive health, pubertal changes, how to care for reproductive organs, and preventing risky behavior. Reproductive health education has been proven effective in increasing adolescent knowledge as a first step in forming healthy attitudes and behaviors. Providing information appropriate to the characteristics of adolescents' ages and the use of interactive learning methods contributed to increased participant understanding. This activity is expected to support promotive and preventive efforts in preventing risky behavior in adolescents in the school environment.
