Abstract

Adolescence is an important stage in life that requires more nutritional intake to support growth and development. Adolescent girls tend to be more susceptible to nutritional problems, especially anemia. The purpose of this community service is to detect anemia in adolescents through HB examination. This community service activity was carried out through Hemoglobin examination in adolescent girls using a digital HB tool, namely Quick check. The target for adolescent girls was 50 people. This activity was carried out at SMAN 1 Plosoklaten, Kediri Regency on Thursday, June 11, 2026. Based on the results of the hemoglobin examination, most of the 74% were in the normal category, namely 37 people, while a small portion of 4% were in the moderate anemia category, namely 2 people. The results of the hemoglobin examination not only provide information about the presence or absence of anemia, but also become the basis for developing health intervention programs. Adolescent girls who have normal hemoglobin levels need to be educated so they are able to maintain a healthy diet and regularly consume foods rich in iron. Meanwhile, for adolescents who are found to have low hemoglobin levels, follow-up is needed in the form of nutritional counseling, consumption of iron-boosting tablets as recommended by health workers, and regular monitoring to determine the success of the therapy given.
