Fire hazards in school environments pose severe risks to safety and infrastructure if students lack appropriate self-rescue and fire response skills. Members of the Youth Red Cross (PMR) serve as key school-based cadres for disaster preparedness and safety promotion. This community service initiative aimed to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of PMR members at SMAN 1 Purwoasri regarding fire self-rescue protocols and the operation of portable fire extinguishers (APAR). The methodology comprised interactive lectures, group discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on simulations using the PASS technique (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep). The program involved 25 PMR student members at SMAN 1 Purwoasri. Evaluation was conducted through direct observation and performance assessment during practical simulations. The results indicated full attendance (100.0%) and high participant engagement. Students demonstrated significant improvements in understanding fire hazards, evacuation procedures, and the correct operation of portable fire extinguishers. This training effectively reinforced emergency preparedness and safety culture within the school community.
